I have tried the AimBot, and while the second version is certainly an
upgrade, it really doesn't do quite what the AutoShooter does. So what is
the AutoShooter and does it work?
To start off with, the models are beta7 models, so no flying carpet
models that need replacing are included. No boxes will show up on your
screen indicating a target lock, and there isn't any dabbling with RGB
numbers to get it to work.
When you extract and install the AutoShooter, you're getting a cheat out
of the box.
So how does it work? It's simple, you set the parameters, such as what
team you're on, what rate of fire you want and off you go.
I had trouble effecting the settings while I was in the game, I believe
you're supposed to be able to switch settings while in the game by using the
pre-defined key combinations, but for some reason, I don't think the
defaults were working. That may effect the rest of this, but I will mention
that as I go on.
I first tried using a pistol. While it did what it was supposed to, I
would have liked to see more positive results. I'm better with a pistol than
this AutoShooter was for me. However, I believe it was on Full Auto, which
would hold down the +attack until the target is no more. In the case of the
pistol, that just won't do (unless I'm running a burst script or something,
which I wasn't). So I found myself hoping for a unlock/lock situation.
The sub-machineguns were alright, a bit flaky, considering they would
loose lock and not pick it back up. I imagine this will be resolved when
lambert is successfully hacked and working, but for the time being, this was
not a good solution for the rapid fire, less powerful weapons.
Let me cut to the meat of this cheat. I was testing the AWP, so I zoomed
in on a door and waited for a target to appear. I was distracted from the
screen for a couple of seconds when I looked back, I had scored two kills.
In addition to this astounding feet, another "uh oh" situation was
when I glanced across an open window (the top
slit in cobble) and sniped someone I didn't even see.
There are no in game shots, just imagine green models versus red models
and imagine not having to react when someone crosses your sites.
